Instructions

Pat the skirt steak dry with paper towels.

Rub the steak with olive oil on both sides.

Sprinkle kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika evenly over the steak.

Heat a large skillet or pan over high heat until very hot.

Sear the steak for about 3 minutes per side, until the edges are crispy and the inside is pink.
