Ingredients

Isper beans400 g
Onion1 large
Olive oil30 ml
Tomato paste15 g

Soak the Isper beans in water overnight.

Heat the olive oil in a large pot and add the chopped onion. Sauté until the onions are soft.

Add the tomato paste and continue to sauté for about 1 minute.

Add the drained beans to the pot.

Add water, salt, and black pepper.

Stir all ingredients and cook on low heat until the beans are tender and the sauce thickens.

Serve hot. You can serve it with fresh bread on the side.
