Wash, hull, and halve the fresh strawberries.
(Optional) Run a lime wedge around the rims of two margarita glasses and dip into coarse salt or sugar to coat.
In a blender, combine hulled strawberries, blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
Add ice to the blender, secure the lid, and blend on high until smooth and slushy. If too thick, add a small splash of lime juice or water.
Divide the frozen margarita between the prepared glasses.
Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and/or a strawberry and serve immediately.
