Instructions

Peel and slice the apples.

In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with sugar, raisins, pine nuts, and cinnamon. Let it rest for a few minutes.

Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the puff pastry to prevent it from becoming soggy.

Spread the apple mixture over the breadcrumbs.

Gently roll the puff pastry with the filling inside, sealing the edges well.

Brush the surface of the strudel with melted butter and beaten egg.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 35 minutes, until the strudel is golden and crispy.
