Wash, hull and halve the strawberries.
If you like, run a lime wedge around the rim of two margarita glasses and dip them into coarse salt or sugar to coat.
Place the strawberries, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and simple syrup in a blender.
Add the ice, secure the lid and blitz on high until smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, stir in a little extra lime juice or water.
Divide the frozen margarita between the prepared glasses.
Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and/or a strawberry, then serve straight away.
