In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and dry yeast.

Add the milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.

Cover the dough and let it rise for about 2 hours, until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.

Fill each ball with diced cooked ham and provola cheese.

Place the filled balls in a round baking tin, side by side.

Brush the surface with the egg yolk.
