Instructions

Pat the chicken breasts dry with kitchen paper.

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, cracked black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and dried thyme.

Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade.

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Add the marinated chicken breasts to the frying pan.

Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 74°C).

Remove from the frying pan and let rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.

Serve hot, optionally with a side salad.
