Place the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, light brown sugar, sea salt flakes, black pepper and chilli powder in a small bowl.
Whisk well until the spices and sugar are fully combined and there are no lumps.
Transfer the seasoning mix to an airtight jar or spice shaker.
Store in a cool, dark cupboard for up to six months.
Use as needed: rub into chicken, pork or beef before grilling or baking, or sprinkle over roast potatoes and vegetables.
