Fresh Jalapeño Peppers500 g
Water500 ml
White Wine Vinegar250 ml
Rock Salt15 g
Granulated Sugar5 g
Garlic4 cloves
Whole Black Peppercorns1 tsp

Instructions

Slice the jalapeño peppers into rings.

Peel and slice the garlic cloves.

Place the sliced jalapeños and garlic into a clean jar.

In a saucepan, bring the water, white wine vinegar, rock salt, and granulated sugar to a boil.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Pour the warm mixture over the peppers in the jar.

Add the whole black peppercorns.

Seal the jar tightly with its lid.

Store in a cool, dark place for a few days.

Serve at breakfast, in sandwiches, or on pizza.
