Instructions

Clean the artichokes by removing the tougher outer leaves and cutting off the tips.

Place the artichokes in a bowl with water and lemon juice to prevent them from browning.

In a pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil and sauté the sliced garlic clove until fragrant.

Add the artichokes and a little water to the pan, cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for about 25 minutes, turning occasionally.

When the artichokes are tender, add the chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper, and serve the artichokes hot.
