In a small bowl, combine 4 tablespoons kosher salt, 2 tablespoons garlic powder, 2 tablespoons onion powder, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon dried oregano and 1 tablespoon dried thyme.
Whisk until there are no clumps and the seasoning is well blended.
Transfer the seasoning to an airtight jar and seal tightly.
Store in a cool, dark cupboard; it will keep for up to six months.
To use, sprinkle over meat, vegetables or popcorn, or stir into soups and sauces to taste.
