Rinse the sushi rice thoroughly and cook according to package instructions.

While the rice is still warm, season it with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Mix gently and let it cool to room temperature.

Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat, shiny side down.

Spread half of the seasoned sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving about 2.5 cm at the top edge.

Arrange a strip of cream cheese, slices of fresh salmon, and avocado along the bottom edge of the rice.

Using the mat, roll the nori tightly from the bottom, pressing gently to form a log.

Repeat with the second sheet of nori and remaining ingredients.

Slice each roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp, wet knife.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the rolls before serving.
